Basso & Brooke LFW Show

It was supposed to start at 3.45 but an hour later it got underway. The crowds were all gathering outside the room allocated to LFW in the Science Museum. Press first, then buyers, then seated. I had a standing only ticket, but when the bouncer said they had 20 seated spare i dashed to the front. I made it to the second row in from the runway, a great view of all the clothes and the whole event. Lots of people from the industry were there to see what Basso and Brooke had been up to since their last show. All the models wore heels so high they walked very upright and aware. The clothes showed off the usual prints Basso and Brooke are famed for, it all had an oriental feel from the strict hair to the over sized hair clips.

Spot Studio VS The Print Space / Happy Finish

So it went down, on a summers evening, the mighty team from Spot Studio played the Print Space and Happy Finish in what has been called 'The Battle for Shoreditch'

A gruelling 60mins spectacle from either side ended in defeat for our valient team. God knows what the score was in the end, sounded more like a cricket score. Each suffered casualties, and still to this day the scars show.

Anyhow, it was a good crack, well done team...
